On June 17, the Department of Construction of Da Nang City officially announced the program to receive documents for renting 290 social housing apartments in the third phase. The apartment project is located on lot B4-2, in Bau Tram Lakeside Green Urban Area, Lien Chieu District. The apartments have an area of 36m2 to 70m2. The announced rental price is 78,000 VND/m2/month, including value added tax and maintenance costs.
The subjects eligible to register include 11 groups as prescribed in Article 76 of the 2023 Housing Law, such as people with revolutionary contributions, poor households, near-poor households, low-income people in urban areas, workers, cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces. Households and individuals in this category who want to register to rent houses need to prepare documents and submit them within the official time from June 16 to July 15.
The representative of the Department of Construction emphasized that the approval process will be conducted strictly to ensure fairness and transparency. In case the number of valid documents exceeds the number of apartments, the investor will organize a public draw under the supervision of the competent authorities. According to the Department of Construction, this project is part of the city's efforts to realize social security policies and solve urgent housing needs for people.
