On December 11, the Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board of Bat Trang Commune (Hanoi) and relevant agencies organized a dialogue with 68 households, to receive comments on the contents related to land recovery, compensation, support, and resettlement to implement the project in the area.
Accordingly, component project 1.2: Compensation, support, and resettlement in Gia Lam district - now Bat Trang commune, under the Ngoc Hoi bridge construction investment project and access roads at both ends of the bridge.
At the dialogue, representatives of the Project Management Board and the commune's departments and professional boards fully informed about the scope of land recovery; compensation and support policies for crops, architectural objects, and assets attached to land; regulations related to support for stabilizing life and converting occupations; and at the same time, specifically responded to each group of people's petitions according to current legal regulations.
Many opinions of households focus on determining the origin of land, compensation prices for each type of crop, asset; support for cases of population growth; support for job training...
The contents are all accepted by the professional agencies of Bat Trang commune, comparing the provisions of the 2024 Land Law, decrees and instructions of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, and the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment for public and transparent explanation.
At the dialogue, Vice Chairman of Bat Trang Commune People's Committee Do Thanh Thuan affirmed that the implementation of the Ngoc Hoi bridge project is of great significance in completing traffic connectivity in the East - South of Hanoi, opening up room for socio-economic development for the locality. Therefore, the commune pays special attention to land acquisition, compensation, support and resettlement, ensuring compliance with regulations and legitimate and legal rights of the people.
The commune continues to publicize and make information transparent, coordinate with competent authorities to ensure compliance with regulations, harmonize the interests of the State, community and people; at the same time, it hopes that households will create conditions for the project to be implemented smoothly and on schedule.
The dialogue took place in a democratic and frank atmosphere. 100% of households expressed their agreement with the project implementation policy and hoped that the authorities would continue to support and guide the process of declaration, counting and compensation payment to go smoothly and on schedule.
The investment project to build Ngoc Hoi bridge and the approach roads at both ends of the bridge was started on August 19, 2025.
The project is 7.5km long, with a total investment of about VND 10,198 billion, invested by the Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.
After completion in 2028, it will be one of the symbolic bridges of Hanoi city and Hung Yen province.
