For Dang Thai Mai Street, Tay Ho Ward People's Committee has issued a decision approving specific land prices for each location, with prices ranging from VND54.9 million/m2 to more than VND188 million/m2 depending on the location, to ensure the legitimate rights of households.
Report of the People's Committee of Tay Ho Ward (Hanoi City) on the progress of the Dang Thai Mai Road Construction Project - Phase I and the Ngoc Trai Theater Project and the Specialized Cultural and Artistic Park, most of the area has been counted and a compensation plan has been established, some cases that have not yet handed over the site are being further mobilized by the ward, combined with enforcement measures according to regulations.
These are projects identified by Hanoi City as having a key significance in urban beautification, synchronous infrastructure development associated with the typical cultural space of West Lake.
For the Dang Thai Mai road construction project phase I, the total reclaimed area is 84,338.6 m2 with 184 households and many related land types.
The project has a total investment of more than 550 billion VND, a total length of 1.26 km, a cross-section of 20.5 m to 93.6 m, is a "backbone" connecting traffic, reducing congestion for the Quang An peninsula area and at the same time creating a green landscape axis - lake - cultural works around West Lake.

Ngoc Trai Theater project and thematic cultural and artistic park
Meanwhile, the Ngoc Trai Theater and thematic Cultural and Art Park project has an area of 21,730 m2, reclaiming land from 36 households and 7 organizations, mainly agricultural land.
This is part of a project complex of more than 191,000 m2 in Quang An peninsula, with a total investment of more than VND 12,756 billion (equivalent to USD 500 million).
The theater is designed to float on the surface of Dam Tri, about 38 m high, with modern architecture inspired by the pearl, expected to become a "new cultural symbol of the capital", meeting the standards for organizing international art events.
The project has been detailed planned at a scale of 1/500 approved in November 2024, expected to start construction in October 2025 along with seven other key projects to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, and will be completed in 2029.
The People's Committee of Tay Ho Ward will continue to resolutely handle cases of slow site handover, while strengthening dialogue, promptly resolving problems, coordinating with the district and departments and branches of the City to basically complete site clearance in the fourth quarter of 2025, ensuring the project starts on schedule.
