On June 5, Khanh Hoa Department of Construction said that it has issued detailed guidelines for cases where people who already have houses owned but are far from their workplace are entitled to social housing support policies in the province.
According to the guidance, in case people already own houses according to the Certificate of land use rights, ownership of assets attached to land according to the provisions of land law in Khanh Hoa province, but the house is 30km or more from the workplace and have a need to buy or rent social housing, people must provide information according to regulations.

People who need to submit to the investor of the social housing project a piece of paper providing information on cases where they already have houses in their possession but are 30km or more away from their workplace.
The investor of the social housing project is responsible for receiving dossiers, checking and verifying the content of information about the shortest road or waterway traffic route length declared using appropriate tools, equipment, and applications.
Forms of documents providing information about cases where housing is already owned but is 30km or more away from the workplace are publicly available on the Electronic Information Page of the Khanh Hoa Department of Construction.
According to Resolution No. 07/NQ-CP dated January 12, 2026 of the Government, social housing development targets for the period 2026 - 2030 are specifically assigned to each locality. Khanh Hoa alone is assigned to complete 10,088 social housing units by 2030.
In which, the target for 2026 is 3,200 units, creating great pressure for the locality in accelerating the progress of projects being implemented and soon putting new projects into implementation.
