The Party Committee of Kinh Bac Ward (Bac Ninh Province) has just established and held the first Conference of the Steering Committee for the implementation of the Northwest New Urban Area Project (Area 1) in the ward.
The conference approved the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Kinh Bac Ward Party Committee on the establishment of a Steering Committee for the implementation of the Northwest New Urban Area Project (area 1) in Kinh Bac Ward.
According to the decision, Mr. Ta Dang Doan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Ward Party Committee, is the Head of the Committee.
The Northwest New Urban Area Project (Area 1) in Kinh Bac Ward has a total reclaimed area according to the planning of about 277 hectares (belonging to 6 neighborhoods including: Viem Xa, Qua Cam, Huu Chap, Dau Han, Xuan Dong, Xuan Ai) with a total investment of about 41,000 billion VND.
According to the plan, this urban area will have about 60 hectares of land for housing construction, including 38.1 hectares of low-rise housing, 9.5 hectares of social housing, and about 111 hectares of land mixed with housing and service groups. In which, the total land area with a land clearance map approved by the Department of Agriculture and Environment is 158.8 ha/277.0 ha.
Up to now, Kinh Bac Ward People's Committee has issued a notice of land reclamation with an area of 140.6 ha/158.8 ha; the rest are in the process of reviewing the owner and land area. The total area of the draft compensation, support and resettlement plan is 127.7 hectares.
The People's Committee of the ward has organized a dialogue with households whose land has been recovered in 5 areas: Viem Xa, Huu Chap, Dau Han, Xuan Dong, Xuan Ai.
At the conference, delegates discussed and gave opinions on the draft assigning tasks to members of the Steering Committee; listened to project implementation progress reports; raised difficulties, problems and proposed solutions for implementation in the coming time.
