Bang Giang is a 3-star hotel located in the center of Cao Bang city, convenient for accommodation, work, and sightseeing.
Bang Giang Hotel was formerly Bang Giang Guest House, managed by the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee. By September 1, 2008, this facility officially operated under the model of a joint stock company (according to Decision No. 1158/QD-UBND dated July 5, 2007 of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province).
Currently, the hotel is operated by Bang Giang Cao Bang Tourism and Trading Joint Stock Company - this is also a subsidiary of Vietnam Mineral Joint Stock Corporation (TKV - JSC).

Promoted with luxurious furniture, the hotel has about 71 rooms equipped with modern amenities, along with many services such as laundry, massage, foreign currency exchange, spacious parking lot...
However, according to actual records, many items of the hotel have shown signs of deterioration. Some outer walls are peeling and covered with moss; the tiled roofs appear to be overgrown with weeds. Local people said that the quality of the rooms is not as good as before.
In recent years, the number of guests has decreased significantly, causing many difficulties for the hotel's business operations. The hotel operator continuously reports losses.
In 2024, this enterprise recorded revenue of 14.7 billion VND and profit after tax of 315 million VND. Previously, in 2022, revenue and profit after tax were VND10.5 billion, VND650 million, respectively, in 2023, revenue was over VND12 billion, profit after tax was VND40 million.

Faced with the above situation, on July 10, Vietnam Mineral Joint Stock Corporation decided to divest all 923,500 shares (equivalent to 51.31% of charter capital) at Bang Giang Cao Bang Tourism and Trading Joint Stock Company.
The starting price for each stock is expected to be 61,900 VND.

According to actual records, Bang Giang Hotel is located at the beginning of Kim Dong walking street, next to Xanh Market, Vuon Cam Street and along the Bang River - an area considered the "golden land" of Cao Bang.
However, signs of deterioration and poor business performance are posing many challenges to the divestment process as well as the future development orientation of the enterprise.

Observing the outside, many walls of the hotel have peeling paint, many places are covered with moss. Ms. Hoang Thu Nga (Tan Giang ward) shared: "The hotel has been in operation for a long time, in recent years the quality of the rooms has not been good and has deteriorated a lot".
