Chuong My Ward People's Committee, Hanoi has just organized a dialogue conference, mobilizing a number of households to complete the handover of land to accelerate the progress of the project to build an exhibition area about President Ho Chi Minh at Tram Pagoda relic.
According to Chuong My Ward People's Committee, the project to build an exhibition area about President Ho Chi Minh at Tram Pagoda relic has profound political and cultural significance, contributing to expressing gratitude and honoring President Ho Chi Minh; educating revolutionary traditions; and at the same time preserving and promoting the value of national relics, associated with the development of cultural and spiritual tourism in the locality.
The project aims at the following objectives: Recreating the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh associated with his activities at the relic; building a "red address" for traditional education; preserving and restoring relics; promoting local socio-economic development.
To implement the project, Chuong My Ward People's Committee has issued decisions approving compensation, support, resettlement plans and land recovery decisions in accordance with regulations; and at the same time organized public posting and sent them to each household.
Chuong My Ward Project Management Board has organized the payment of compensation and support money; households have received money and signed commitments to hand over land.
However, to date, some households have not completed the collection of assets, architectural structures, trees and crops to hand over the site as committed, affecting the project construction progress.
Vice Chairman of Chuong My Ward People's Committee Nguyen Phung Hung said that to speed up the project progress, Chuong My Ward People's Committee and leaders of functional departments and agencies have directly dialogued and answered petitions and difficulties of households.
Chuong My Ward People's Committee requests households to continue to coordinate in handing over the site as soon as possible, serving the project implementation and towards celebrating the 80th anniversary of Uncle Ho's nationwide call for resistance - December 19, 1946 - December 19, 2026.
