On September 4, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Construction Investment Management Board is holding a community consultation to serve the environmental impact assessment (EIA) for component project 1: relocation, resettlement, site clearance of the Ninh Thuan 1 Nuclear Power Plant project.
According to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Construction Investment Management Board, this component project has a total area of over 65 hectares, expected to build 798 resettlement plots to serve about 4,500 - 5,000 people.
The total investment is more than VND 12,390 billion, with the goal of ensuring stable housing and living conditions for affected people.
The resettlement area planning includes many items: land for construction of workers' apartments with an area of nearly 14,800m2; area A with more than 46,500m2 with 300 lots (150m2/lot); area B with nearly 36,000m2 with 174 lots (200m2/lot); area C with more than 101,000m2 with 324 lots (300m2/lot).
In addition to housing, the resettlement area will be built with synchronous infrastructure and essential utilities: schools from kindergarten to inter-level school, medical center, cultural house, commercial - service works, tourism area, religion and belief, green park, sports park, parking lot...
The investor said that the goal of the project is to create conditions for people to soon stabilize their lives, develop production, and increase income.
At the same time, it contributes to promoting the socio-economic development of the region towards industrialization and modernization, associated with ensuring security - defense and environmental protection.
The project is expected to be implemented from 2025 to 2030.
