Accordingly, Hong Phong Investment and Development One Member Co., Ltd. and Ecopark Hai Duong Investment Joint Stock Company are the two investors selected to implement the project.
The project has an area of 29.39 hectares, an estimated population of about 1,451 people, with a total investment of more than 2,424 billion VND.
The project aims to build a modern ecological urban area, synchronous in technical infrastructure and social infrastructure, harmoniously combining urban space with tourism, trade and resort activities; while effectively exploiting the natural landscape and indigenous culture of Sa Pa region.
Within the project scope, the investor will build 403 commercial houses (152 townhouses and 251 villas), 6 commercial - service works, 5-star standard hotels and 2 educational works including inter-level schools ( Primary and secondary schools) and kindergartens.
The entire transportation system, water supply and drainage, lighting, and landscape trees will be completed, ensuring synchronous connection with the regional infrastructure.
Project implementation progress: Complete legal procedures in the first quarter of 2026; start construction and expected to complete and put into operation in the third quarter of 2030.
The People's Committee of Lao Cai province hopes that when completed, the O Quy Ho Tea Hill Ecological Urban Area Project is expected to become a new highlight in the urban and tourism space of Sa Pa, contributing to the implementation of the goal of developing an ecological, cultural and tourism urban area according to the general planning of Sa Pa National Tourist Area.
