More than 12,900 newly built and repaired houses from the movement of the Lao Cai Provincial Fatherland Front

In order to carry out the assigned tasks, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province has promptly guided and oriented member organizations such as the Labor Federation, Women's Union, Farmers' Association, Youth Union, Veterans' Association... to deploy patriotic emulation movements and social security programs in accordance with the functions and tasks of each organization.

From the unified direction of the Front, many programs with profound humanitarian significance have been effectively implemented, typically the movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025" with more than 12,900 houses newly built, repaired, and 77 days ahead of schedule; or the program "Lao Cai joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind" has mobilized over 349 billion VND, supporting thousands of poor households, workers, and laborers to stabilize their lives.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front always identifies caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people in general and workers in particular as a key political task. All movements and programs of the Front are aimed at the people, especially people in remote areas, vulnerable groups in society, poor workers, and workers far from home, emphasized Ms. Giang Thi Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province.

After Typhoon Yagi in 2024, the Front and its member organizations promptly launched support movements, mobilizing more than VND1,100 billion along with thousands of tons of goods and necessities to the people and workers affected. "Although the gifts are not large, they are timely sharing, adding determination for people and workers to soon stabilize their lives," Ms. Giang Thi Dung shared.

By proactively coordinating closely with socio-political organizations, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province has created a syndicated strength, mobilizing great resources from the people.

In the process of implementing key projects such as the 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen line, the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong high-speed railway, with the Presidium of the Front, socio-political organizations and member organizations have coordinated to promote propaganda and mobilize people to agree with site clearance, contributing to ensuring progress and maintaining social stability.

At the same time, humanitarian and charity activities are organized regularly and increasingly widely such as "Tet Sum Vay", "Xuan Bien Hoa An Nhien tim Nhan", "Red Journey - Drops of Love at Work", "Drop of Youth at Work - Sharing Love"... These programs not only bring practical attention to people, workers, and laborers, but also arouse the spirit of solidarity and sharing in the community.
