On May 11, Thanh Oai Commune People's Committee (Hanoi) issued a notice on land acquisition to implement the Olympic Sports Urban Area project in Ma Kieu village, Thanh Oai commune.
According to Thanh Oai Commune People's Committee, the total land area expected to be recovered for the first phase of the project in Ma Kieu village, Thanh Oai commune is 72,793 m2, including 181 land plots (agricultural land) of households and individuals currently using.
The location of the recovered land area is determined according to the boundary marker positioning minutes dated March 2, 2026 of the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment and according to the cadastral map footage for site clearance of the project prepared by BHS Commercial Construction and Map Surveying Joint Stock Company in March 2026.
The time for investigation, survey, measurement, and inventory is carried out according to the detailed plan approved by Thanh Oai Commune People's Committee.
Thanh Oai Commune People's Committee requests people whose land is recovered, owners of assets attached to land, and people with related rights and obligations (if any) to be responsible for coordinating with the Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board and relevant agencies in the process of investigation, survey, measurement, inventory, and collecting opinions on compensation, support, and resettlement plans.
In case households and individuals have land within the scope of recovery to implement projects but do not coordinate in investigation, survey, measurement, and inventory, the Commune People's Committee will deploy mandatory inventory according to the provisions of law.
The Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board is responsible for posting land recovery notices and lists of people whose land is recovered at the commune People's Committee headquarters and common living locations of residential areas where land is recovered throughout the compensation, support, and resettlement period.
The Project Management Board is responsible for guiding households to make records and appoint representatives to carry out compensation and support for site clearance in cases where the land has a common use form or the land user has died, or the person is allowed to stand in place of the land user on the land use right certificate.
The Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board is responsible for sending this notice to households and individuals with land within the scope of recovery and implementing the correct procedures for land recovery, developing compensation, support and resettlement plans in accordance with the regime and policies on compensation, support, and resettlement as prescribed.
