After 1 week of training with the national women's team, overseas Vietnamese player Nguyen Hoang Nam Mi shared openly about her training story.
"The weather in Hanoi is entering a hot period, so I have to try much harder and also start adapting. I felt like I played football in Vietnam faster and more skillfully than in Canada.
With the support of the women, I personally am learning a lot from them and the instructions of the coaching staff, for example, trying to pass the ball faster and stronger according to the requirements of head coach Mai Duc Chung, Nam Mi shared.

Talking about the team being soaked in rocks and having their muscles strained after the training session, Nam Mi said that this was very good, helping to limit injuries.
Playing football with members of the first Ho Chi Minh City women's club when coming to Vietnam, Nam Mi said she was quite close to the players Huynh Nhu, Tuyet Ngan and Phuong Thao. The overseas Vietnamese player also revealed that she often exchanges English with Huynh Nhu if she does not understand Vietnamese.
When asked if she wanted to play for a long time in the Vietnam national women's team, Nam Mi shared: "I really like playing football in Vietnam, but I have to finish university. Next August, I will return to Canada to complete my university graduation program, then return to Vietnam to continue playing football".
"In Vietnam, my family also has many people like grandparents and uncles who help a lot. Of course, sometimes I miss my parents and younger brother in Canada, so my family often calls to talk, Nam Mi added.

Nam Mi happily shared that in Canada, people like skin that is tan, but in Vietnam, girls are afraid of getting black and this is interesting. She said that the sun here is quite hot, so you have to be careful and wear a long-sleeved shirt every time you practice.
According to the plan, the national women's team with 26 players will leave for Japan to train in the early morning of June 8. It is expected that during the training process here, the Vietnam women's team will have 3 friendly matches with local women's clubs.
