The Collective Labor Agreement brings practical benefits to female workers
On March 19, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong - Chairman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union - said that in order to practically care for female workers every year, the Standing Committee of the Industry Trade Union has directed the grassroots trade unions to review the contents of the Collective Labor Agreement and internal documents of the unit to promptly adjust and supplement contents related to gender equality, policies for female workers... to ensure legal regulations.
As a result, the vast majority of units included in the Collective Labor Agreement the content of visiting and giving gifts to female employees on the occasion of International Women's Day March 8 and the founding day of the Vietnam Women's Union October 20, giving gifts to children of employees on the occasion of International Children's Day June 1 and the Mid-Autumn Festival...
In particular, in some units, leaders and trade unions have included provisions higher than the law in the collective labor agreement, bringing practical benefits to female workers. In particular, Viet Tri Chemical Company pays a regime and standards for female employees 200,000 VND per month, supports employees with children under 6 years old with 200,000 VND/child/month, and visits female employees with 500,000 VND/child. Lam Thao Phosphate and Chemical Company has given Ao Dai to 100% of female employees for 3 consecutive years.
LIX Washing powder Company pays additional salary for the time off but not off during the shift of female employees, supports additional mid-shift meals for pregnant female employees with 20,000 VND/meal, and supports female employees with children under 6 years old with 100,000 VND/month/child. Southern Rubber Company supports female employees to be pregnant and raise children under 12 months old...

Ms. Tran Thi Hao - Dam Ninh Binh Company is a co-author of the initiative "Choa at the liquid N2 pipeline for refined refrigeration", with a profit value of nearly 20 billion VND.
Timely grasp the thoughts and aspirations of women
According to the leader of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union, from now until the end of 2025, trade unions at all levels will continue to strengthen propaganda and education activities among employees on labor law policies, gender equality, prevention of domestic violence, and education on moral qualities for Vietnamese women.
Promote the emulation movement "Good at public affairs, good at housework" associated with the movement "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families". Grasp the thoughts and aspirations of women, create favorable conditions for them to study to improve their qualifications in all aspects, receive health care and improve their cultural and spiritual life.
Proactively participate in developing legal policies related to female and child labor, along with employers, paying attention to the issue of creating stable jobs, improving the environment and working conditions for female employees. Especially fighting against discrimination, abuse, and insult to the dignity of women.
The total number of employees of the Vietnam Chemical Group is more than 20,000 people, of which 5,132 are female, accounting for 25.5%; 100% of female employees have enough jobs and stable income.
