On May 27, a working delegation of Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) led by Mr. Bui Quoc Hoan - Deputy General Director of EVNSPC, along with Mr. Le Xuan Thai - Chairman of EVNSPC Trade Union, visited and encouraged workers on the occasion of Workers' Month 2026 at Vinh Chau, Phung Hiep and Thot Not Power Companies, under Can Tho City Power Company.

At the working session, representatives of units reported to the working delegation on the production and business situation, as well as outstanding results in ensuring safe and stable electricity supply to serve socio-economic development in the locality. At the same time, units also frankly shared difficulties and obstacles in the process of performing tasks, thereby proposing practical solutions to improve operational efficiency and constantly improve the lives of workers.
Speaking at the working session, Deputy General Director of EVNSPC Bui Quoc Hoan acknowledged and praised the spirit of overcoming difficulties of the collective of officials and employees (CBCNV) in the context of harsh weather and increasing load demand. In particular, he highly appreciated the "through holidays, through weekends" working spirit of the workers at the construction sites to complete the energizing of 51 key projects. This is a meaningful achievement to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification and the 51st anniversary of the establishment of EVNSPC.
The Deputy General Director of EVNSPC also kindly encouraged trade union members and workers to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, proactively overcome difficulties to successfully complete production and business targets.

Leaders of the Corporation also especially reminded employees to always strictly comply with regulations on labor safety and traffic safety. He emphasized that employees only perform tasks when they fully ensure health conditions and protective equipment, and must absolutely not be subjective or negligent in safety work.
Mr. Le Xuan Thai - Chairman of EVNSPC Trade Union - also exchanged many practical contents to improve care for workers. Specifically, the Corporation's Trade Union oriented the arrangement of vehicles for work to minimize the use of personal motorbikes; and at the same time strengthen the equipment of modern production tools and equipment such as: hand drills using charging batteries, operating poles, insulated boots and gloves, working ladders...
The EVNSPC Trade Union also proposed that units pay attention to investing in building waiting rooms, cultural and sports facilities and housing for workers far away. In addition, there are policies to support tuition fees for employees and tuition fees for children of workers in difficult circumstances or suffering from serious illnesses. In particular, the work of visiting and caring for cases of workers suffering from serious illnesses and requiring long-term treatment needs to be focused on and strengthened further.

At the meeting, workers from 3 units frankly shared their aspirations directly related to actual working conditions. Opinions focused on the need for specialized construction material transportation vehicles to make it more convenient in the working process. Many workers also expressed their desire for leaders at all levels to regularly listen, listen and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles arising during the working process.
