Instructions for housewives to make blood fat-controlled lunch

Kiều Vũ |

Lunch is one of the important meals of the day, especially for people who want to control blood fat.

A reasonable meal not only helps provide enough energy but also contributes to maintaining weight, limiting bad cholesterol and protecting cardiovascular health.

Therefore, housewives can start with simple changes in the way they choose and process food.

First of all, you should prioritize green vegetables and fiber-rich foods. A plate of boiled, steamed or stir-fried vegetables with a moderate amount of oil can help make the meal more balanced.

Fiber-rich vegetables, tubers, and fruits also support a diet that is beneficial for cholesterol control. In addition, you should choose whole grain starches such as brown rice, oats, or whole grains instead of eating too much white rice.

Protein sources also need to be carefully selected. Fish, skinless poultry, tofu and beans are suitable choices to partially replace fatty meats.

In particular, fish can appear frequently in the menu thanks to providing protein and beneficial unsaturated fats. When processing, priority should be given to steaming, boiling, braising lightly or pan-frying instead of frying deep in oil.

A common mistake is that housewives often think that eating less meat is enough. In fact, fatty foods, fried foods, organs, processed meat and foods high in saturated fat also need to be limited. At the same time, you should reduce high-sugar sauces, overly salty dishes and sugary drinks.

For example, a simple lunch can include a moderate portion of rice, steamed or lightly braised fish, a plate of green vegetables and a portion of less sweet fruits. This way of eating is both easy to do and helps control the total amount of fat and energy in the meal.

Control blood fat for lunch does not require elaborate or expensive dishes.

The important thing is that housewives should supplement with more vegetables and fiber, choose healthy protein, limit saturated fat and control portion sizes.

When maintaining these principles regularly along with reasonable exercise and health monitoring, lunch can become a practical "assistant" for cardiovascular health.
