Ending the operation of 29 trade unions at the grassroots level

    Thanh Hoa - 29 trade unions at the grassroots level will be dissolved and end operations from June 30, 2025.

    On June 21, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to announce the decision on the dissolution and termination of the activities of the trade unions at the grassroots level directly under the Provincial Federation of Labor.

    According to the decision, the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and key cadre positions of the 29 trade unions directly above the grassroots level will be dissolved and terminated. Including 26 district, town and city Labor Federations; Provincial Party Trade Unions; Provincial People's Committee Trade Unions; and Nghi Son Economic Zone and Industrial Parks Trade Union of Thanh Hoa province.

    The above units are responsible for handing over the status quo of grassroots trade unions, union members, seals, certificates of documents, assets, and union finances to the Provincial Federation of Labor for management according to regulations.
