On February 26, the Quang Binh Health Sector Trade Union announced that it had just handed over "Union Shelter" houses to 4 union members in especially difficult circumstances in the area. The total support amount from the Quang Binh Trade Union Social Fund is 160 million VND, helping union members have the conditions to build new houses and stabilize their lives.
The 4 families receiving support this time include: Ms. Tu Thi Hoa Mo (Dong Hoi City Medical Center), Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong (Bo Trach District Medical Center), Ms. Tran Thi Hoi (Quang Ninh District General Hospital) and Mr. Cao Ngoc Tam (Minh Hoa District Medical Center).
Ms. Hoa Mo's family is in especially difficult circumstances, her husband passed away from a serious illness, she alone raised two young children in a seriously degraded level 4 house. Similarly, Ms. Huong's family also lives in a temporary, severely damaged house, while their income is low, their husband does not have a stable job and has to support his elderly mother and two young children.
Ms. Tran Thi Hoi currently lives with her two children in her grandparents' house. Mr. Cao Ngoc Tam's family has 3 generations with 7 people living in a dilapidated house, while he is the main breadwinner, supporting the whole family.
Faced with these difficult circumstances, the Management Board of the Quang Binh Trade Union Social Fund decided to support each family with 40 million VND. Thanks to this support, new houses have been completed and handed over, helping union members have solid housing, feel secure at work and take care of their families.
