Attending the meeting were Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation.
The congress was attended by company leaders: Mr. Vuong Dao - Deputy General Director; Mr. Ly Chinh Hung - Director of External Affairs; Mr. Duong Quang Linh - Administrative Director; Ms. Lieu Tien - Head of the Department of Corporate Culture.
Luxshare-ICT Company Limited (Vietnam) officially came into operation in June 2017, specializing in the production and assembly of electronic components. The company's union was established in 2018 with 3.2 thousand union members. To date, the total number of union members of the company is nearly 22.6 thousand people, reaching 100% of the number of workers participating in the organization.
From the beginning of the 2023-2028 term until now, ensuring the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers has always been a priority task assigned by the Executive Committee of the Company's Trade Union. The trade union has effectively participated with employers in developing and implementing grassroots democracy regulations; developing regulations and organizing conferences and dialogues at the workplace according to regulations; regularly participating in and supervising the implementation of legal regulations related to labor contracts, wages, working hours, rest hours, etc. Developing and signing regulations on coordination of activities between the Executive Committee of the Trade Union and the Board of Directors, creating synchronization in compliance with labor law, the Trade Union Law and strictly implementing policies for employees.
Activities such as: Propaganda, women's work, finance, and supervision are regularly and effectively implemented by grassroots trade unions, gradually improving the material and spiritual life of union members and workers. On average, the company's Trade Union spends about 20 billion VND per year to organize activities to care for, give gifts, provide emergency support to union members in difficult circumstances, and reward workers with achievements in production.
At the congress, delegates discussed and analyzed the limitations and difficulties in the process of activities; shared experiences and solutions to overcome them. At the same time, many solutions were agreed to complete important targets in the new term. Specifically: Propagating the resolutions of the superior trade union and the State's laws and policies to 95% of workers; every year, strive for 80% or more female workers to achieve the title of "Good at public work, good at housework"; 100% of union members do not violate company rules, pay union fees fully and in accordance with the regulations of the State and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; organize cultural, artistic and sports activities well; regularly visit and encourage union members in difficult circumstances.
Speaking at the congress, Mr. Thach Van Chung emphasized that the 2025-2030 term takes place in the context of administrative unit arrangement and streamlining the apparatus. This is both an opportunity and a challenge for the activities of the trade union organization. Mr. Thach Van Chung suggested that in the coming time, the Company's Trade Union should regularly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers to have a basis for participation, propose to business owners to have support solutions; actively propagate and disseminate to union members the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, especially policies related to the obligations and rights of workers.
Launch emulation movements and mobilize union members and workers to actively participate, contributing to improving productivity and product quality, successfully completing the production and business tasks of enterprises; regularly organizing cultural and sports activities, building a rich spiritual life, creating more cohesion between the union organization and workers.
At the congress, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor announced the decisions to appoint 19 comrades to join the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Luxshare-ICT Company Limited (Vietnam) term III, 2025-2030; 3 comrades are members of the new term Inspection Committee. Ms. Vu Thi Dung, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of the newly appointed company.
