Over the past 5 years, the Vietnam Education Trade Union has presented gifts to 6,627 cadres, teachers, workers and 148 groups with a total amount of over 11 billion VND in disadvantaged areas.

According to the Vietnam Education Trade Union (VTC), the campaign "Supporting education in mountainous areas, remote areas, and areas with special difficulties" launched by the VTC has mobilized tens of billions of VND to support teachers and students in schools in mountainous areas.

Accordingly, implementing the Resolution of the 15th and 16th Congresses of the Education Union on continuing to carry out the campaign "Supporting education in mountainous areas, remote areas, and areas with special difficulties", the Education Union promptly directs the Education Unions of provinces to grasp the needs of housing, clean water facilities for cadres, teachers, workers, and schools in areas with special difficulties in socio-economics.

Every year, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has solutions to innovate the form of implementation of the campaign, develop plans, assign responsibilities and seriously direct implementation. In addition to the resources supported by the Trade Union, the trade unions of the units also proactively coordinate with the professional sector, mobilize businesses, philanthropists and mobilize local resources to solve housing difficulties for employees, contributing to maintaining and promoting the effectiveness of the movement at the grassroots level.

The campaign "Supporting education in mountainous areas, remote areas, remote areas, and areas with special difficulties" has been carried out for many years, many educational institutions located in provinces with difficult economic conditions have been given attention and support for teaching and learning equipment; many teachers' housing units have been built at school locations to create conditions for teachers to have a place to live when working away from home; many union members and workers in difficult circumstances have been cared for and supported with jobs and housing.

According to the Trade Union, in 5 years (2020-2025), trade unions at all levels under the Trade Union have organized the giving of gifts and equipment to support teaching and learning in schools; presented gifts to 6,627 employees and 148 groups with a total amount of over 11 billion VND in disadvantaged and border areas.

In addition, promoting the tradition of "mutual love and support", the team of employees in the industry is always united, helping each other in work, supporting each other in development. The Education Union has mobilized units, philanthropists, and businesses to increase sharing and support for education in mountainous areas, remote areas, and areas with special difficulties. In the past 5 years, 33 teachers' public housing units, 5 clean water projects have been built, 7 teachers' public housing projects have been repaired that were damaged or degraded... with support levels of 500,000,000 VND/newly built public housing, 70,000,000 VND/repaired public housing, 100,000,000 VND/clean water project. Mobilizing affiliated units to mobilize support for money and goods to raise more than 6.7 billion VND...
