On May 23 and 26, at Quang Binh University Gymnasium, the 2025 Civil Servants, Public Employees, and Workers' Badminton Tournament took place enthusiastically with the participation of 68 pairs of athletes, competing in 3 events: Men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles, divided into 2 age groups under and over 45, with 24 grassroots unions participating.
The tournament is organized by the Trade Union of the Quang Binh Provincial Government Bloc in response to Workers' Month 2025 and to celebrate the Party Congresses at all levels, commemorating the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday. This is a meaningful sporting activity to improve physical fitness, create a healthy playground, and connect union members in the whole bloc.
In her opening speech, Ms. Tu Thi Thu Hanh - Chairwoman of the Government Trade Union emphasized: The tournament is an opportunity for cadres, civil servants, and public employees to practice health, exchange, learn, and strengthen the spirit of solidarity. The organizing committee is committed to operating the tournament objectively and in accordance with the regulations.
The organizing committee will award medals and awards to athletes with high achievements. In addition, many excellent units will receive the flag and the overall championship trophy.
This is a tournament of positive significance in building office cultural life, expected to continue to promote and expand scale in the coming years.
