This shift is driven by macroeconomic trends but all revolve around the demand for skills related to AI, big data, robots, automation, renewable energy and biotechnology.
About 60% of employers believe that digital expansion will create a big impact on business operations and restructure the labor market. jobs that require analytical, creative and high-tech skills are expected to continue to thrive.
Similarly, the report from the Indeed job search platform also identified 7 industries with great potential in Vietnam, including: AI, semiconductors, software, data analysis, cybersecurity, green energy, finance.
Mr. Vu Quang Thanh - Director of Hanoi Employment Service Center - commented that in the coming time, candidates with knowledge/skills in technology, sustainable development and global trends will have more advantages in the eyes of employers.
In addition to digital skills, employers are also looking for candidates with analytical thinking, adaptability and a desire to learn, and leadership skills. Therefore, workers need to proactively learn, improve their skills and be flexible in career conversion, said Mr. Vu Quang Thanh.
