On November 15, at My Tho Industrial Park (Trung An Commune, Dong Thap Province), the Trade Union of Royal Foods Vietnam Co., Ltd. held the 4th Congress of Grassroots Trade Union Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. Attending the Congress were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Head of the Trade Union Department of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones under the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Apinan Srihom - Production Director of Royal Foods Vietnam Co., Ltd. - and 50 official delegates representing over 340 union members attending the Congress.
Royal Foods Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a company operating in the field of canned fish processing - Processing and preserving frozen seafood, with a team of skilled workers. The Trade Union of Royal Foods Vietnam Co., Ltd. has 346 union members, accounting for 97.8% of workers and employees, including 256 female employees.
Over the past year, the average income of workers and laborers has increased gradually over the years, now an average of more than 6,800,000 VND/person/month. The grassroots trade union has closely coordinated with the Board of Directors of the enterprise, fully implementing the regimes and policies according to regulations such as wages, social insurance, health insurance and welfare for employees.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Congress of the Trade Union of Royal Foods Vietnam Co., Ltd. for the 2025-2030 term set a goal of continuing to build a strong Trade Union organization, promote the role of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers and laborers. At the same time, the Congress emphasized the promotion of the emulation movement "Good workers - Creative workers", improving knowledge, skills and working attitude, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
At the Congress, delegates listened to and discussed the summary report on Trade Union activities for the 2023-2028 term and the direction and tasks for the 2025-2030 term. The report highlights the remarkable results in: the lives, income and working conditions of workers have improved; emulation movements "Good workers, creative workers", "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" have been maintained effectively; The work of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members has been carefully carried out; social, charity, women's work and children's activities have received regular attention. The Congress for the 2025-2030 term approved 12 targets and 4 tasks and solutions to be implemented with the consensus of 100% of delegates attending.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Head of the Trade Union Department of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones highly appreciated the achievements of the Company's Trade Union, he emphasized: In the coming term, the Executive Committee will continue to actively propagate the Labor Law and the Trade Union Law, inspect and supervise the implementation of regimes and policies related to workers; grasp the thoughts, aspirations and ideological orientations for union members and workers; promote emulation movements "Good workers, creative workers"; continue to introduce training and introducing excellent union members to the Party for admission; focus on training a team of union officials with political will, moral qualities, professional qualifications, and skills to meet the tasks in the new situation.
The Congress also elected the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the 5th term, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 7 comrades and elected 1 delegate to attend the 1st Congress of the Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union for the 2025 - 2030 term. At the first meeting of the new term Trade Union Executive Committee, Ms. Vo Thi Mai Khanh was re-elected as Chairwoman of the Company's Trade Union; Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thu was elected Vice Chairwoman and Chairwoman of the Trade Union Inspection Committee.
