The congress was attended by Ms. Hoang Thi Lam - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor; leaders of Doc Lap commune; and representatives of 23 grassroots trade unions in 12 communes including Trung Khanh, Tra Linh, Dam Thuy, Quang Trung, Quang Long, Quang Uyen, Be Van Dan, Doc Lap, Phuc Hoa, Hanh Phuc, Thach An and Duc Long.
During the 2020 - 2025 term, Bao Ngoc Company's Trade Union has played a good role in representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers; proactively coordinating with professionals in implementing regimes, policies, labor contracts, wages, social insurance, and occupational safety and hygiene.
The average income of workers reaches 8.3 million VND/month; 100% of union members participate in cultural, sports and political and legal activities and training.
The trade union also actively launched the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene", thereby having an initiative effectively applied in production, contributing to improving productivity and work quality.
In addition, the work of caring for union members' lives was focused on, with more than 60 union members being visited and supported in cases of illness, party, and work-related accidents, with a total amount of over 30 million VND. In particular, the Trade Union has proposed and received support from the Provincial Federation of Labor to build a new house and repair a union member's house with a budget of 40 million VND.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Bao Ngoc Trading and Export Processing Company Limited, term IV, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 3 people; at the same time, elected 2 official delegates and 1 delegate in absentia to attend the 18th Provincial Trade Union Congress.
On this occasion, the Cao Bang Provincial Federation of Labor presented gifts to 5 union members and workers of the company affected by storms and floods. The Congress also launched a fundraising campaign, calling on all cadres, union members and workers to support people in flooded areas with a total amount of nearly 5 million VND.
