According to Mr. Vu Ngoc Thuc - Deputy Head of the Trade Union Working Committee of Hai Phong City Labor Federation - said that on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the City Labor Federation supported 20,000 gifts in cash, worth 1 million VND/gift, with a total budget of 20 billion VND; donated 49,444 bus tickets to workers far from home (distance from 150km or more), each ticket worth 200,000 VND, with a total budget of 9,888,800,000 VND.
The City Labor Federation also directed the organization of Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party 2026 at all levels of the Trade Union. Accordingly, the "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party 2026" program at the city level is expected to take place on the morning of January 29 at the Viet Tiep Friendship Labor Culture Palace. The grassroots trade union level coordinates with unit leaders and business owners to organize "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party 2026" before January 25, 2026; striving for 100% of grassroots trade unions to organize "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party 2026" with appropriate content and form. It is expected that 3,000 Tet gift bags will be given to union members and employees participating in the Tet Sum vay 2026 program at trade union levels, worth 500,000 VND/gift bag.
The total support budget of the City Labor Federation during Tet 2026 is more than 50 billion VND. It is expected that the City People's Committee will support 11.8 billion VND to take care of Tet for union members and workers.
Ready for Trade Union Tet markets at both locations
Along with Tet care activities for union members, the City Labor Federation is ready for a large-scale Trade Union Tet Market, organized in both the East and the West.
The Director of the Legal Consulting and Employee Support Center of the City Labor Federation said that the Eastern Tet Market will take place for 5 days (from January 28 - February 1) at the Vietnam-Chechistan Friendship Labor Culture Palace with nearly 200 booths participating. The Western Tet Market will take place for 4 days (February 5 - 8) at the Legal Consulting and Employee Support Center of the City, facility 2 with a scale of nearly 100 booths. Representatives of units and businesses participating in the Tet Market have drawn lots for booth locations and prepared quality goods to serve union members.
The City Labor Federation allocated at least 5,000 free shopping vouchers (200,000 VND/voucher) worth a total of 1 billion VND to union members at Hai Phong Trade Union Tet Market 2026 and at the same time, supported 8,250 shopping vouchers at the online Tet Market program with a total value of 4.125 billion VND from the source of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

At this year's Tet market, the company prepares nearly 1,000 diverse items for the booth at the Tet market. These are all essential products, serving the needs of the majority of union members and workers during Tet. For Tet confectionery and jam products, the company reduces prices by 10% for union members. Other items are also deployed with many incentives for workers.

Within the framework of the program, the City Labor Federation will give Tet gifts, shopping vouchers, health screening, and free eye exams to about 1,000 workers in difficult circumstances, expressing the feelings, care, and timely sharing of the Trade Union, helping workers feel warm when Tet comes and Spring returns.
