In the atmosphere towards the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, Mr. Dao Manh Kien - Chairman of the Trade Union of Vietnam Airlines Corporation - expressed his honor and pride in being a delegate to attend the important political event of the Vietnam Trade Union organization.

According to Mr. Dao Manh Kien, in recent years, the Vietnam Trade Union has implemented many models and creative and effective ways of doing things, creating a widespread impact among union members and workers.
In which, the Tet care program for union members and workers, especially those in difficult circumstances, has become a bright spot flexibly applied by many levels of trade unions.
At the Trade Union of Vietnam Airlines Corporation, the implementation of the online "Trade Union Tet Market" model has brought practical effects. If previously, care work mainly carried out in the traditional way with pre-prepared gifts, now union members can proactively choose items suitable for their own and family needs.
That change not only helps improve the effectiveness of care but also shows the spirit of putting workers at the center of all trade union activities. Tet gifts are therefore not only of material value but also contain the concern, sharing and understanding of the Trade Union organization towards union members.
That careful spirit is clearly shown through meaningful figures. From the beginning of 2026 to now, the Trade Union of Vietnam Airlines Corporation has spent more than 56 billion VND to visit, give gifts and support union members and workers.
In which, the budget for Tet Nguyen Dan Binh Ngo 2026 care reached more than 54.5 billion VND, of which trade union financial resources contributed more than 15.8 billion VND. The Trade Union also supported more than 603 million VND to buy drinking water for union members and workers working in hot weather and allocated more than 961 million VND from the General Corporation's Compassion Fund to care for workers facing difficulties.
Entering a new development phase with increasingly high requirements of the labor market and the strong digital transformation process, Mr. Dao Manh Kien expects the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress to open up new orientations for the Trade Union organization to continue to promote its role of representing, caring for and protecting workers.

He hopes that the Vietnam Trade Union will further promote digital transformation in trade union activities, from managing union members, implementing care programs, organizing emulation movements to implementing policies related to the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers. Bringing activities to the digital environment will help workers easily access information, facilitate the process of participating and enjoying policies.
Along with that, trade union levels need to strengthen propaganda, disseminate knowledge, organize training and workshops on digital transformation and application of artificial intelligence in production and business in accordance with the specific characteristics of each field and industry. This is not only a requirement of the times but also a solution to help workers improve their skills and adapt to changes in technology.
He also hopes that the Trade Union organization will closely coordinate with functional agencies to have more effective solutions to prevent fraud in cyberspace, protect the rights and property of workers in the digital environment.
In particular, the head of the Trade Union of Vietnam Airlines Corporation expects the Congress to allocate more resources to activities to care for, support and protect union members and workers, especially those in difficult circumstances, suffering from serious illnesses and vulnerable workers.
From today's specific care programs to the expectations placed on the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, it can be seen that the common thread is the desire to build an increasingly modern, close and substantive Trade Union organization.
That is also the foundation for the Trade Union to continue to be a reliable support for millions of union members and workers in the country's development journey.
