On April 4, the Krong Buk District Labor Federation held a house handover ceremony under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025 to a household in difficult circumstances in Ea Ngai commune.
The family supported for repairs is Ms. Tran Thi Duong, who has lived in a dilapidated, seriously degraded house for many years. In that situation, local unions joined hands to support the cost of repairing her house.
The house has an area of 70m2, started construction and repair in March 2025, and was completed after one month with a total cost of more than 60 million VND.
Of which, the Krong Buk District Labor Federation supported 30 million VND, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ea Ngai commune supported 10 million VND with contributions from the community.
The house was repaired with a hard foundation, hard walls, hard roof, ensuring safety and living conditions for Ms. Duong's family.
Ms. Luu Thi Hoa - President of the Krong Buk District Labor Federation said: "In the past time, trade unions at all levels in the district have actively participated in social security activities, contributing to the construction of new rural areas".
Ms. Hoa emphasized that this is an activity of profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the role and responsibility of the trade union organization towards workers and the community.
This is also a practical activity to celebrate major holidays in 2025 and towards the Party Congresses at all levels, term 2025 - 2030.
