At the solemn session, the Congress listened to the Report on the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Trade Union Congress, period 2023-2025; determined the goals, tasks and solutions for trade union work for the 2025-2030 term.

In the 2023-2025 period, Lang Son Provincial Trade Union has completed and exceeded 15/15 groups of targets of the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Trade Union Congress, continuing to affirm its role in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.
For the 2025-2030 term, the Executive Committee of the Lang Son Provincial Federation of Labor said that the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus according to the Party's policy has directly affected the trade union performance model.
In response to the new requirements, trade unions at all levels have flexibly adapted, shifting the focus of activities to the non-state sector, where workers fluctuate greatly and are more difficult to gather.
By the end of June 2025, the whole province will have more than 41,000 union members, with an average income of over 8.3 million VND/person/month.

However, the lives of a part of workers in small and micro enterprises still face many difficulties and unstable jobs.
In that context, care programs continue to be widely implemented. Activities such as "Tet Sum Vay", "Worker's Month", "Union Tet Market", "Union Meal" have supported 143,611 union members and workers, with a total budget of 62.2 billion VND.
The Social Fund of the Provincial Federation of Labor has promptly supported hundreds of union members with housing difficulties, serious illnesses, and natural disasters.

The work of representing and protecting workers' rights has been enhanced through giving comments on more than 200 draft documents, organizing 83 supervisions, coordinating inspections and checking the implementation of labor laws...
The emulation movements "Good workers, Creative workers" continue to spread, with more than 13,000 initiatives recognized, bringing in a profit of over 6.3 billion VND. Union member development work achieved outstanding results when admitting more than 5,500 new union members, far exceeding the set target.
Entering the 2025-2030 term, Lang Son Provincial Trade Union determined to continue to strongly innovate, promote digital transformation, improve representation, negotiation and dialogue capacity, take workers as the center, strive to build a strong trade union organization, truly a reliable support for union members and workers.

With the spirit of democracy and responsibility, the Congress voted to elect the Executive Committee of the 18th Provincial Federation of Labor for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 19 comrades; elected the delegation to attend the 14th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Doan Thu Ha, Deputy Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front shared: "The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged and commended the comprehensive results that the Lang Son Provincial Trade Union at all levels has achieved in the past term, especially the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights of union members and workers".
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requested that the Trade Unions at all levels of Lang Son province continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots, taking union members and workers as the center.
At the same time, it is necessary to effectively perform the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights of workers; improve the quality of dialogue and collective bargaining; focus on labor safety, wages, social insurance and welfare.
