
Mr. Nguyen Tat Hoa - Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Trade Union (former Chairman of the Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union) shared that, implementing Resolution 18-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently; The Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor has decided to dissolve industry unions, including the Nghe An Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union.
Accordingly, from March 1, 2025, the Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union will officially be dissolved, and grassroots trade unions will be transferred to other organizations such as the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union, Vinh City Labor Federation, and District Labor Federations.

The former Chairman of the Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union thanked the Provincial Federation of Labor, Department leaders, generations of industry trade union leaders, leaders of units, grassroots trade unions and union members and workers for their attention, support and companionship.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Nhi - Vice President of Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor acknowledged the achievements that the Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union has achieved over the years.
At the same time, he expressed his wish that grassroots trade unions would continue to promote the tradition of the industry and the Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union, regardless of which unit they belong to, continue to strive to build an increasingly strong trade union organization.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded Certificates of Merit of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to collectives with outstanding achievements; presented gifts to comrades who stopped participating in the Executive Committee of the Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union for the 5th term; presented gifts to comrades who stopped participating in the Inspection Committee, the Women's Committee; and announced the decision of the Provincial Federation of Labor on transferring 72 grassroots unions under the Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union with 7,600 union members to 20 grassroots unions.
