News from An Hai Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on May 18 said: The Ward Trade Union in coordination with the Farmers' Association, Youth Union and An Hai Ward Public Service Service Center in coordination organized a cultural and sports festival for union members, association members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in the ward.
The activity took place in a vibrant, united and exciting atmosphere, attracting a large number of union members, association members and workers to participate in cheering.
The festival is organized to practically celebrate the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth; and at the same time to celebrate the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, the 9th Vietnam Farmers' Union Congress, the 13th National Youth Union Congress and respond to the activities of Workers' Month 2026.
This is also an opportunity to strengthen the spirit of solidarity and exchange between mass organizations and units in the ward. More than 350 athletes from grassroots Trade Unions, grassroots Farmers' Associations and youth union members in the area participated in the festival.
The teams competed in 5 events including: jumping rope, relay, sack jumping, tug of war and ringing the golden bell. Each event was exciting and attractive, showing the enthusiasm, dexterity, agility and team spirit of the athletes.
In team sports such as tug-of-war, relay running or sack jumping, the teams have contributed many fierce competitions, receiving enthusiastic cheers from a large number of fans.
In particular, the Golden Bell Ringing competition created an exciting atmosphere with many questions to learn about history, revolutionary traditions, Trade Union organizations, Farmers' Associations, Youth Unions and social knowledge, contributing to improving understanding for union members, association members and workers.
Through the festival, the Organizing Committee wishes to create a healthy and useful playground for union members, association members, and workers to have conditions to exchange, learn, improve spiritual and cultural life, and exercise after working hours.
At the same time, the activity also contributes to promoting the cultural - artistic, physical education and sports movement at the grassroots level, building a united and close environment among officials, union members, association members and workers in An Hai ward.
