On May 18, the grassroots trade union of Furukawa Automotive Systems Vinh Long Vietnam Co., Ltd. (FAVV) organized the handover of support money to Mr. Duong Van Xua, father of worker Duong Thanh Huan, who is being treated for a serious illness.
Previously, on May 10, worker Duong Thanh Huan suddenly developed a serious illness, had to be urgently resuscitated and transferred to a higher level. Initially diagnosed with "Unidentified leukemia", on May 12, it was determined that he had "Accute Hemangioma", the condition progressed rapidly and was very critical.
Currently, the patient is being treated at a final-line hospital, requiring oxygen support, weak health, and high treatment costs, causing the family to continuously fall into hospital fee pressure every day.
Mr. Duong Van Xua, father of worker Huan, emotionally said that this is a great source of encouragement to help the family have more hope to overcome the difficult period ahead.
Mr. Nguyen Van Be Hai, Chairman of the company's grassroots trade union, said that from May 14 to 16, the internal call program received a total amount of 136,538,000 VND from the collective of FAVV workers.
In recent days, the atmosphere at the business has become quiet but warm, as many workers voluntarily contribute, considering colleagues as family members under the same roof.
Support activities show the spirit of mutual affection among workers, contributing to spreading human values in the workplace in a profound and sustainable way.
Mr. Be Hai said that the program continues to call for support, emphasizing that every small contribution is an important source of support to help workers overcome difficult treatment stages.
At the same time, the trade union is committed to transparency in receiving and transferring funds to worker families promptly and in accordance with regulations, ensuring the trust of workers.
