Over the past 5 years, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) has promoted the emulation movement "Innovation, creativity in management, teaching and learning".
The school has built teaching and learning models applying digital technology, in scientific research, the school has 2 scientists honored in the Top 100,000 most influential scientists in the world in 2023, won the First Prize of the "Scientific Initiative 2023" contest and many other awards.
The school continues to maintain its high ranking on international and regional rankings, such as the Top 100 in the world for sustainable development, 95th in the world for interdisciplinary scientific research, Top 200 best youth institutions in the world, Top 200 best higher education institutions in Asia, and Top 601-800 best educational institutions globally according to THE World University Rankings 2024.

Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Huynh Thanh Xuan suggested that the collective of teachers and employees of TDTU continue to widely implement the patriotic emulation movement, focus on specialized emulation movements, bearing their own mark, closely following the development strategy of the school, linking the emulation movement with the key tasks of the education sector, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, especially in building a green - smart - humane university environment and building an autonomous, multi-disciplinary university, with international integration.
At the same time, focus on strongly developing high-quality human resources, attracting and retaining a team of highly qualified lecturers, especially professors, associate professors, scientists with international research projects and enhancing digital transformation in management, emulation and reward assessment, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, economy and transparency.
On this occasion, TDTU launched an emulation movement for the 2025 - 2030 period with a number of key tasks such as: Striving to improve training quality, improve teaching methods, effectively apply digital technology platforms in all educational and training activities, quality assessment of all training programs according to international standards; striving to make TDTU a prestigious address for education - training - research and international cooperation, maintaining a modern, civilized working environment that is always green, clean, beautiful and sustainably developed.
TDTU also commended and rewarded 10 typical advanced collectives and individuals and 59 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the school's emulation movement.
