On June 19, the Party Congress of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor for the 2025-2030 term took place solemnly with the participation of many delegates representing affiliated Party cells and cadres and Party members of the entire Party Committee.
This is an important political event to summarize the results of implementing the Resolution for the 2020-2025 term and propose directions and tasks for the new term.
Speaking at the opening of the congress, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor - affirmed: The congress is an important occasion for the entire Party Committee to promote democracy, focus on intelligence, and properly recognize the current situation, thereby proposing concerted decisions to enhance the leadership role of the Party organization in the Trade Union system, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new period.
Reviewing the outstanding results in the past term, despite facing many challenges such as the COVID-19 epidemic, prolonged drought and salinity, and socio-economic fluctuations, the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor has maintained a spirit of solidarity, flexibility, and creativity in directing and effectively implementing the resolution targets, especially in caring for and protecting the legitimate rights of union members and workers.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Vo Thanh Do - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party agencies of Ben Tre province - praised the outstanding and innovative results in leadership methods, associated with effectively promoting the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
"In the context of organizational arrangement and socio-economic fluctuations, the Party Committee needs to strengthen solidarity, flexible leadership, complete breakthrough tasks, and at the same time focus on building a strong Party, improving personnel capacity, and implementing Directive 05 of the Politburo well," Mr. Do emphasized.
At the Congress, delegates unanimously approved the Resolution with 7 specific targets to be implemented in the 2025 - 2030 term.
