On January 26, the Vietnam Science and Technology Union organized a conference to summarize the work in 2025 and deploy tasks for 2026.
Attending were Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), Mr. Pham Duc Long - Deputy Minister of Science and Technology.
In 2025, implementing the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and the Party Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology on focusing on directing and effectively organizing the implementation of key tasks, programs, and annual work plans, the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union has had many innovative solutions, successfully completing the tasks and planned targets set out.

Dac biet, trong Thang Hanh dong vi tre em nam 2025, Cong doan KHCN Viet Nam da ho tro 297 chau bi benh nang, di tat bam sinh; gia dinh co hoan canh kho khan voi so tien 297 trieu dong, cac cong doan truc thuoc ho tro 1.828 chau voi tong so tien tren 1 ti dong.
Phat bieu tham luan tai Hoi nghi, ba Tran Minh Hai - dai dien Cong doan Cong ty Co phan FPT - trinh bay vai tro cua Cong doan trong thuc day phong trao thi dua doi moi sang tao va nang cao chat luong nguon nhan luc phuc vu chuyen doi so. Ba Tran Minh Hai cho biet: “Chuyen doi so khong phai la dieu xa voi danh rieng cho cac chuyen gia. Tai FPT, chung toi no luc binh dan hoa doi moi. Khi kien thuc duoc chia se mot cach don gian nhat, moi doan vien deu co the sang tao tu chinh cong viec hang ngay cua minh. Chi khi ai cung co the tham gia, doi moi sang tao moi thuc su tro thanh dong mau chay trong doanh nghiep”.
Mr. Pham Duc Long - Deputy Minister of Science and Technology affirmed: "In the context that digital transformation is the core driving force for growth, people are the subject and the weapon that determines success or failure. Trade unions must not only take care of ordinary life but must also focus on protecting the professional capacity of workers.

The conference launched the 2026 emulation movement with the theme "Promoting innovation; concretizing and bringing the Resolutions of the Party Congress, Fatherland Front, and Trade Union into life"; identifying 2 goals, 10 groups of tasks and 2 breakthroughs.
At the Conference, the VGCL awarded the 2025 Emulation Flag to 5 grassroots trade unions and 3 upper-level trade unions, and awarded Certificates of Merit in 2025 to 5 collectives directly under the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union.
The Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union awarded the 2025 Emulation Flag to 37 affiliated trade unions, Certificates of Merit to 59 grassroots trade unions and 166 member grassroots trade unions.
