The Department of Health must direct medical facilities to strictly control the cost of medical examination and treatment using health insurance, ensuring the safety of the fund within the assigned estimate. Continue to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, service spirit and reform administrative procedures to create maximum convenience for people; strengthen inspection and examination to promptly prevent and handle acts of abuse and profiteering of the health insurance fund.
The Department of Education and Training coordinates with the provincial Social Insurance to propagate insurance policies to cadres, teachers, parents, students; requires educational institutions to effectively implement the health insurance work for students in the 2025-2026 school year and the following years; strive to achieve 100% of students participating in health insurance, considering this an emulation criterion.
By the end of July 2025, the whole province of Gia Lai has 797 employers who are 6 months or more late in paying social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, occupational accident and disease insurance.
Most of the units that are late in paying are companies and enterprises, directly affecting the rights of 4,638 employees. The total debt is more than 183 billion VND.
Among these, many enterprises owe a huge amount of money, lasting for many months, even many years, such as: 47 Construction Joint Stock Company is late in paying more than 25 billion VND with 814 employees, 26 months debt (from May 2023); FLC Quy Nhon Golf and Resort Joint Stock Company is late in paying more than 28.5 billion VND with 326 employees, 39 months debt (from April 2022);
Bamboo Airlines Joint Stock Company is late in paying more than VND30 billion with 1,025 employees, 16 months in debt (from March 2024); Joint Stock Company 504 is late in paying more than VND14 billion with 5 employees, 174 months in debt (from January 2011)... The remaining unit is late in paying with amounts ranging from a few tens of millions of VND to a few billions of VND.
In addition to enterprises, some public units have also been slow to pay insurance such as: Gia Lai Market Management Department is late in paying more than VND 881 million, 6 months debt (from January 2025); Gia Lai Science and Technology Industrial Center is late in paying more than VND 504 million with 18 employees, 12 months debt (from July 2024);
Gia Lai Technical Center for Standards and Quality Measurement is late in paying more than 311 million VND with 26 employees, 6 months in debt (from February 2025); Gia Lai Natural Resources and Environment Technical Center - late in paying more than 175 million VND with 10 employees, 6 months in debt (from February 2025)...
