On June 6, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit had organized the handover of funds to support the construction of a "Trade Union Shelter" house for Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Minh - a member of the grassroots Trade Union of Trung Nguyen Coffee Joint Stock Company, under Tan An Ward Trade Union.
Due to difficult family circumstances, Ms. Minh has requested trade unions at all levels to support housing construction funds from the "Trade Union Shelter" program.
After appraisal, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation decided to support 50 million VND from the Fund to support union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers of the Provincial Trade Union.
The remaining funding was contributed by family, relatives and friends to build a house of about 60m2, with a total cost of nearly 400 million VND.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Minh emotionally shared that with limited workers' incomes, for many years her family has always hoped for a solid house but has not met the conditions to implement it.
Support from the Trade Union organization not only helps reduce the economic burden but is also a great source of encouragement for the family to soon complete their dream house.
According to the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation, in the Workers' Month 2026, trade union levels in the province have supported the construction and repair of 22 "Trade Union Shelter" houses with a total budget of 1.1 billion VND; of which, the new construction support level is 50 million VND/house.
Trade union levels also organized 14 "Thank you workers" programs, 16 "Trade Union Meals" programs and 15 "Trade Union Member Welfare" programs, attracting 11,522 turns of union members and workers to participate, contributing to better caring for the material and spiritual life of workers in the province.
