On November 9, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) of Thai Binh and the Trade Union of the Agriculture and Rural Development sector organized a sports festival for workers and laborers in the whole sector to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnam Agriculture and Rural Development sector (November 14, 1945 - November 14, 2024).
The sports festival attracted nearly 200 athletes who are officials, union members, and workers from 16 units to compete in 11 events in 4 sports: badminton, table tennis, chess, and tug of war. With the spirit of sportsmanship and solidarity, the athletes competed enthusiastically, giving the audience dramatic matches.
The 2024 Sports Festival is one of the annual activities of the Agriculture sector. This is an opportunity for officials and union members to exchange, compete, and learn experiences in the field of sports activities and help the sector select potential athletes to compete in competitions of sectors in the province.
The sports festival is also a driving force to help the movement of health training of cadres, union members and workers in units of the industry to be maintained and increasingly developed. This is also a truly useful playground, helping cadres, union members and workers have a comfortable spirit after stressful working hours.
The sports festival takes place in one day. At the end of the festival, the organizers will award collective and individual prizes in the competitions.
