To celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025), the Provincial Federation of Labor organized a provincial-level Trade Union Meal program at three locations with a total cost of more than 1.3 billion VND, bringing meaningful meals to more than 27,000 union members and workers.
The Union Meal Program is an activity to care for the lives, demonstrate the role of representing and protecting workers and strengthen the connection between union members and the Union organization.
Specifically, at the event location at Ty Xuan Company Limited (Hoa Phu Industrial Park) on July 28, 21,300 union members and workers were supported, each worth 50,000 VND, with a total cost of 1,065,000,000 VND.
At the branch of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Long Duc Industrial Park), the program is scheduled to take place on August 8, with 5,000 union members, with a total cost of VND 250,000,000.
The third event held at Gen Nex Apparel Company Limited (Giao Long Industrial Park) is scheduled to take place on August 22, with 750 performances, a total of 31,500,000 VND.
The total value of the provincial-level Trade Union Meal program is 1,346,500,000 VND, contributing to direct support for 27,050 union members and workers.
On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor also presented 30 subsidies (500,000 VND/subsidy) to union members in difficult circumstances. In addition, CEP microfinance Organization - Vinh Long Branch also awarded 3 scholarships (VND2.5 million/scholarship) and 6 gifts (each worth VND400,000 in cash and a student study worth VND100,000).
Through the program, the Trade Union organization not only shows practical concern for union members and workers but also affirms its role as a solid support in the journey to care for and protect the rights of workers in the new context.
