During Workers' Month, activities to care for workers in terms of material and spiritual aspects as well as improve the working environment, protect the health and safety of workers have been organized specifically, practically and effectively by all levels, sectors, trade unions, and enterprises in Hanoi to make "Workers' Month" and " Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene" in 2025 truly a great festival for workers.
The City Labor Federation organized activities to visit, give gifts and give subsidies to 2,251 workers in difficult circumstances, workers who have had work accidents or occupational diseases, with a total amount of 2.3 billion VND; supported the construction and repair of 25 new Trade Union Shelters for union members, workers and civil servants in especially difficult circumstances, and workers who have had work accidents with a total support amount of 930 million VND;
Develop and implement the Plan "Free reproductive health check-ups and cancer screening for 10,000 workers" in 2025; coordinate with Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital to organize reproductive health check-ups - consultation communication; free early cancer screening, giving free medicine to 600 female workers in Thach That - Quoc Oai Industrial Park; direct the Thach That District Labor Federation to check the health of 200 workers at the launching ceremony of Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Month of the city.
In addition to obstetrics and gynecology examination, cancer screening, consultation, prescription and treatment instructions, workers are communicated knowledge about reproductive health care, premarital health, family planning, etc.
Implementing the direction of the City Labor Federation, the Trade Union at the grassroots level and the grassroots trade union have organized care and support for 110,462 union members and workers with an amount of more than 28 billion VND.
As of May 31, 2025, the grassroots trade union at the direct superior level has provided free health check-ups and cancer screening for 3,844 workers and civil servants; organized 1,509 "Thank you to workers" activities, of which the grassroots trade union at the direct superior level organized 22 activities and the grassroots trade union organized 1,487 activities.
This is an activity to honor the value of workers, thanking the positive contributions of cadres, union members, and workers who have contributed significantly to the development of the locality, industry, and unit.
Coordinate the organization of "Workers' Markets", "Recessive sales weeks for workers", "Workers' Cultural and Sports Festival", "Health care festival", the movement "Welfare is guaranteed, better benefits for union members and workers" and "Each grassroots union, a benefit for union members"; organize tourism and vacation programs for workers.
Continue to sign and implement activities with welfare partners to bring benefits to union members and workers; promote practical care for union members and workers through improving the quality and quantity of collective labor agreements.
By the end of May 2025, the whole city had 244 new collective labor agreements signed, bringing the total number of 4,707 enterprises signing collective labor agreements to 82.03%.
On this occasion, the City Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit to 20 groups.
