Khanh Hoa is managing more than 55,000 records of people with revolutionary contributions. Of which, 5,772 subjects receive preferential monthly allowances, with a total cost of more than 16.7 billion VND.
Previously, the payment of preferential allowances to meritorious people and their relatives would be managed by the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and paid to the subjects from the 5th to the 10th of each month via post or other methods.
In 2025, implementing Resolution No. 18 on streamlining the apparatus, from February 20, the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs will merge with the Department of Home Affairs. The task of paying preferential allowances to meritorious people and their relatives has also been transferred to the Department of Home Affairs for management.
However, up to now, the Ministry of Finance has not yet provided instructions and transferred funds to management agencies to make payments to the subjects.
According to Official Dispatch No. 160 of the Ministry of Home Affairs on reporting the state budget estimate for 2025 to implement the Ordinance on Preferential treatment for people with revolutionary contributions, the Department of Home Affairs of Khanh Hoa has compiled the reported data.
On March 12, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued Official Letter No. 256 on the budget for paying preferential allowances to people with meritorious services to the March 2025 revolution. The Department of Home Affairs sent a document to localities informing them that payment in March will be slower.
