The online contest "Creative Journey - Aspiration to Rise Up" in 2025 - an activity responding to the Government's digital transformation policy has affirmed the determination to innovate and change the digital reality of each union member and employee in the banking industry.

High practice and creativity

Ms. Nguyen Khanh Chi - Vice President of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union - said that since April 2025, the contest is a practical activity to realize Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, while concretizing Plan No. 237/KH-TLD of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the emulation movement "The whole country innovates and transforms digitally" in the banking industry.

The contest has gone beyond the scope of a regular emulation movement to become an intellectual forum, where the spirit of innovation is not only aroused but also concretized into hundreds of initiatives, practical solutions and rich in potential application.

With more than 150 entries from grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions under the Vietnam Banking Trade Union, the contest recorded the enthusiastic participation of hundreds of union members and workers from most banks in the system such as Vietcombank, Agribank, BIDV, VietinBank, VPBank, LPBank, Co-opBank, Social Policy Bank...

After the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee selected 115 entries with quality, complete documents, and correct rules to post and participate in the final round.

The professional quality of the entries is highly appreciated, clearly demonstrated through their practicality and ability to create impact. Most of the initiatives come from practical problems in daily work, focusing on directly solving manual and time-consuming tasks. Many solutions have proven to be effective and measurable in terms of economy (coste saving), technology (increasing productivity, reducing errors) and society (improving the working environment).

The initiatives are also very diverse in terms of expertise, covering most of the bank's operations, showing that innovation can come from any position. The creativity in the entries is also very impressive, with many units boldly applying advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine Learning (Machine Learning) ...

In addition to high technology, many initiatives also show flexible innovative thinking, using simple but surprisingly effective tools, such as BIDV's signature and stamp management solution or applying the slogan "On time, off on time" to save costs of Co-opBank.

In particular, some breakthrough solutions such as DBC HUB - Application system to improve employee experience (VCB) or ezPolicy - Smart virtual assistant applying GenAI for internal text data (VPBank) show a modern vision and the ability to catch up with global trends. These initiatives have a diverse scope of application, from room/office scale to the entire system and high replication potential, especially AI models, chatbot, big data analysis, which can become a strategic project to create sustainable competitive advantages.

Always accompanying workers in digital transformation

The online contest "Creative Journey - Aspiration to Rise Up" in 2025 once again proves that the Union always accompanies workers in digital transformation. The contest has gone beyond the scope of a regular emulation movement to become an intellectual forum, where the spirit of innovation is not only aroused but also concretized into hundreds of initiatives, practical solutions and rich in potential application.

On July 22, Ms. Ha Thi Hong Hanh - Head of the Propaganda and Women's Union, Vietnam Banking Trade Union - said that at the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 3 first prizes, 5 second prizes, 6 third prizes and 15 consolation prizes to units and individuals. Of which, 3 first prize-winning initiatives will be nominated to participate in the "Creative Labor Festival 2025" organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor,

"Creative journey - Aspiration to rise up" 2025 has ended but opened up and aroused the spirit of dynamism, creativity, and determination to carry out digital transformation of each banking employee. That is also the motivation for them to continue to promote their intelligence and creativity to meet new requirements and contribute to the strong transformation of the banking industry.
