The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation held a leadership conference on July 2. At the conference, representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, Binh Duong province, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province (old) reported briefly on a number of situations on the rearrangement of organizations, apparatus, and staff of local trade union organizations before the merger; reported on a number of issues on the activities of commune, ward, and commune, ward trade union officials, and at the same time, expected a number of activities of the Ho Chi Minh City trade union organization in the coming period.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - requested that cadres in the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation quickly create groups of union cadres, connect and meet with the team of union cadres of the previous ward and commune in the 3 localities and have a plan to provide basic professional guidance and activities for commune and ward union cadres in the new situation.
"The tasks of the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union in the coming time are many. This requires each cadre in the standing position, the executive committee and the grassroots union cadre to strive, unite, and be creative in closely following the grassroots, grasping the situation of employment, life, thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers, and not leaving the operating area of the Ho Chi Minh City union organization vacant in the new situation, Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan emphasized.
