Towards comprehensive digital transformation
Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui has just signed and issued a Program to promote propaganda, education, and mobilization of union members, workers and laborers (ĐV, CN, NLĐ) to study and improve their qualifications, skills, and professional skills in the period 2026 - 2030. The program aims to build a team of modern workers with flexible adaptability to the requirements of the digital transformation period, contributing to promoting socio-economic development of the locality.

Besides the goal of building a contingent of union members, workers, and laborers with firm political bravery, good expertise, professional skills, rich life skills and a spirit of self-learning and creativity. Thereby, contributing to building an increasingly strong working class, meeting the requirements of rapid and sustainable development of the province. To realize the program, the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation set out specific goals: Annually, strive for at least 90% of union members and 85% of workers and laborers at enterprises (DN) to be propagated and disseminated the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws.

At the same time, at least 65% of workers participate in studying to improve their qualifications and professional skills. The special program emphasizes the digital transformation factor when setting a target that by the end of the term, 100% of workers will be familiarized with information technology and digital technology, and 100% of grassroots trade unions (CĐCS), trade unions (CĐ) of communes and wards will implement digital transformation in communication work, gradually modernizing trade union activities.
Synchronous and practical solutions
To achieve the targets, the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation implements many groups of synchronous solutions, associated with the reality at enterprises and the lives of workers and laborers. First of all, it is to apply information technology to propaganda, political and legal education. Grassroots trade unions will build internal communication channels such as Zalo, fanpage to promptly update policies and regimes related to workers and laborers. Promote the production of modern communication products such as infographics, short videos on labor safety and industrial discipline to increase visibility and accessibility.

In the field of improving skills, the Trade Union coordinates with businesses to review training needs, organize training classes, and vocational promotion exams right at the workplace. Workers are encouraged to actively study and master new technology equipment, automation lines and production management software. In addition, linking with universities, colleges, and vocational education centers to open overtime classes on culture, foreign languages, and informatics will help workers have more opportunities to improve their qualifications. "Good Workers", "Golden Hands" contests continue to be maintained to honor and spread typical high-skilled workers.

Another important solution is to promote the role of trade unions in dialogue and negotiation to ensure the right to education of workers. The content of training support will be proposed to be included in the collective labor agreement, while strengthening supervision of the implementation of training policies at enterprises, ensuring fairness and non-discrimination.
With clear targets and practical solutions, the program is expected to create a strong change in the awareness and actions of union members, workers, and laborers, contributing to building an increasingly professional Dong Thap CN force, meeting development requirements in the new stage.
