Mr. Ma Phuc Vinh (Chiem Hoa commune, Tuyen Quang province) has been studying an electronics and refrigeration vocational training course at Tuyen Quang College of Technology and Technology for more than 6 months. Compared to the work Vinh previously did in the locality, his knowledge and learning skills are much more in-depth and specialized.
"After finishing grade 12, I went to work as a part-time worker and intended to learn a trade at an electronic equipment repair shop in the commune, but my skills were not in-depth, I could only repair simple things. When studying vocational skills at my school, I was trained systematically and professionally in all skills. After finishing the course, I will go to an industrial park to work with a stable salary, Vinh shared.
According to Mr. Do Xuan Truong - Principal of Tuyen Quang College of Technology and Technology, the school's training scale is more than 2,000 students/year with a variety of majors and professions according to social needs. In which, some are specialized and have high-tech elements.
In the new context that is also required by current industries, we have proactively equipped students with digital transformation skills, applied information technology to students in courses, ensuring output quality, said Mr. Truong.
According to statistics from the Department of Education and Training of Tuyen Quang province, the whole province currently has over 500,000 people of working age, of which over 60% of workers in the agricultural sector have set an urgent requirement for restructuring and improving skills. In the 2021-2025 period, Tuyen Quang province has organized vocational training for more than 90,000 workers, with an employment rate of over 80%.
In Tuyen Quang, every year, hundreds of students are selected to be trained at key universities at home and abroad under joint programs. Support postgraduate training, improve foreign language proficiency for 472 cadres, civil servants, and public employees, and foster knowledge and skills for nearly 1,000 commune-level People's Council delegates for the 2021 - 2026 term.
To improve the quality of human resources, Tuyen Quang province has issued many resolutions, programs, and projects such as "Developing human resources of Tuyen Quang province in the period of 2021 - 2025"; "Enhancing awareness, popularizing skills and developing human resources for national digital transformation until 2025, with a vision to 2030"; Resolution regulating policies to attract human resources, support postgraduate training, and improve foreign language proficiency of People's Councils.
Many agencies and units in Tuyen Quang have promoted digital transformation to help improve work efficiency, creating a modern and professional working environment. Up to now, 100% of cadres and civil servants with email accounts and leaders have been equipped with specialized digital signatures; all agencies and commune levels have participated in meetings without documents. In particular, the rate of level 4 online public services is at 80 - 87%.
Mr. Pham Ninh Thai - Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Tuyen Quang said that the whole province is maintaining the operation of 1,868 Community Digital Technology Teams with a total of over 10,000 members. Over the past 2 years, over 2,540 cadres and civil servants of agencies, units and localities have participated in training on digital transformation.
"Currently, more than 4,000 civil servants and public employees of the province have been trained in applying artificial intelligence (AI), this is a breakthrough step, concretizing the resolutions of the Central and the province on improving the quality of human resources", Mr. Pham Ninh Thai informed.
