Many meaningful highlights during Workers' Month
Based on the plan to implement Workers' Month 2025 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with the theme "Vietnamese Workers' Level: Pioneering to enter a new era", Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor has issued a plan to implement with the goal of 100% of grassroots trade unions in all types of enterprises organizing at least 1 activity in response to Workers' Month; 100% of grassroots trade unions of administrative agencies and public service units organizing appropriate activities in response to Workers' Month in 2025.
Accordingly, trade unions at all levels will implement 5 key contents: Program "Creative workers, firmly entering the new era"; program "May Dialogue" and forum "Party with workers - Workers with the Party"; program "Thank you to workers"; Organize a peak month to develop union members, establish grassroots trade unions; and program "Propaganda, raise awareness of union members and workers".
At the provincial level, the launching ceremony of Workers' Month will announce the "Nghe An Workers Follow Uncle Ho's words" Award, organize "Workers' Health Festival" and flag-raising activities, sing the National Anthem simultaneously on April 28 and May 19. Nghe An will also participate in the "Creative Labor Festival" and a contest to learn about the Trade Union Law and the Social Insurance Law organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. These activities will start in April and peak in May 2025.
Mr. Kha Van Tam - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor - said that the general spirit of the Workers' Month 2025 in Nghe An is to focus on the grassroots, bringing practical benefits to workers, widely mobilizing organizations, individuals, businesses, and the community to join hands in organizing meaningful, practical, and humane activities.
Affirming the pioneering role of Vietnamese workers
In Quang Tri, Workers' Month 2025 will be held from May 1 to May 31, associated with the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene (OSH) with the theme "Strengthening assessment, identification of risks and risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace".
This month, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor focuses on raising awareness and responsibility of the whole society in caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers. At the same time, the program also aims to encourage workers to study, improve their professional qualifications and working skills to adapt to modern labor trends in the context of international integration and the 4.0 industrial revolution.
The highlight of Workers' Month in Quang Tri is the program "Creative workers, confidently entering the new era", with emulation activities "Good workers, creative workers", "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and health". Workers are encouraged to propose initiatives and technical improvements to improve labor productivity, while participating in provincial-level technical innovation contests.
Mr. Nguyen The Lap - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor - said: "Workers' Month 2025 is an opportunity to affirm the pioneering role of Vietnamese workers in the new context, when the country is gradually transforming strongly in the era of technology and international integration. With practical and meaningful activities and close coordination between trade unions at all levels, workers in Quang Tri will certainly be motivated to overcome difficulties and proactively contribute to the sustainable development of the locality and the country".
Workers' Month 2025 in Nghe An and Quang Tri is not only an opportunity to affirm the role of the working class but also an opportunity to connect the community, build trust and encourage creative working spirit in the new era.
