The Congress of Saigon Power Company Trade Union (under the Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation) for the 2025 - 2030 term has just held, setting out the following goals: Innovation in content and methods of trade union activities, improving the political mettle, capacity and prestige of trade union officials, actively participating in building and supervising the implementation of laws, mechanisms and policies, performing a good role of representation, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
Coordinate with the professional organization to organize emulation movements to focus on and key points; propagate and encourage employees to strive to fulfill assigned duties and responsibilities, maintain labor discipline and order, for the development of the company associated with improving the lives, material and spiritual needs of employees.
Some specific targets include: Every year, 100% of union members and employees register to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style associated with implementing the set of criteria "Professional workers in the City Electricity sector named after Uncle Ho"; Female employees and employees implement the set of criteria "Women in the City Electricity sector named after Uncle Ho". Strive for 100% of newly recruited workers to be admitted to the trade union; during the term, introduce at least 10 outstanding union members to be admitted to the Party.
At the same time, coordinate with the professional community to effectively implement the grassroots democracy regulations, successfully organize annual labor conferences and periodic dialogue conferences according to regulations.
During the term, organize the installation of signs for at least 2 emulation projects to celebrate major holidays of the year, strengthen coordination in inspecting occupational safety and hygiene, preventing fire and explosion, ensuring absolute safety for people and property, preventing occupational accidents, and not violating laws on occupational safety and hygiene.
