Bus tickets, train tickets, plane tickets to take workers in difficulty back to their hometowns
The Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor has just deployed to grassroots unions a plan to support 2,200 bus tickets in the 2026 Spring Union Members' Bus trip program to send workers home to celebrate Binh Ngo 2026.
According to the plan, the 2026 Tet holiday will be organized by Dong Nai Trade Union for union members and workers to return to their hometowns in the northern provinces and cities to celebrate Tet. These are all union members and workers who actively participate in activities organized by trade unions; have difficult circumstances or are rewarded, certificates of merit from grassroots trade unions, certificates of merit and awards from the Provincial Labor Federation or higher in the period of 2023 - 2025... Union members have not returned home for many consecutive years to celebrate Tet, have a need to return home for Tet and are committed to returning to work after the end of the Tet holiday. It is expected that buses to take union members and workers home to celebrate Tet will be held from February 11 to 14, 2026 (ie December 24 to 27, At Ty year).
Dong Nai was allocated 450 train tickets and 120 plane tickets by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to take union members and workers home for Tet. The subjects selected to give train and plane tickets for this year's Tet holiday are union members, workers in difficult circumstances, affected by work accidents, occupational diseases, job losses or unpaid wages, ethnic minorities, relatives of meritorious people, or those with outstanding achievements in production and trade union activities in the period of 2020-2025.
The expected return time for the Union flight is from February 12 to 16 (ie December 25 to 29). The starting point is Tan Son Nhat airport and to Vinh and Noi Bai airports. Before union members and workers return to their hometowns, representatives of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor will directly meet, give gifts and wish a happy New Year to union members and workers.
For the Trade Union train from the South to the North, it will be carried out from February 10 to 16 (from December 23 to); the afternoon from the North to the South (after the Lunar New Year) from February 20, 2026 to March 1, 2026 (from January 4 to 13, Binh Ngo year).
Visiting and encouraging union members and workers in difficult circumstances
According to the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor, in order to promptly create conditions for union members and workers to return home for Tet conveniently, quickly and safely, the Provincial Federation of Labor recommends that grassroots unions select union members and workers in difficult circumstances to support air tickets; at the same time, organize shuttle buses to and from their residence and workplace to Tan Son Nhat airport according to the flight schedule. Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation also implemented a plan to organize activities to care for union members and workers in Dong Nai province on the occasion of Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
According to the plan, the Trade Unions at all levels will organize Tet Sum vay activities, meetings with workers' families; arts and sports, meetings, exchanges, and lucky draws in industrial parks, boarding houses, and enterprises, hoping that all union members and workers can enjoy spring and celebrate Tet in a joyful and warm atmosphere.
The union also proposed to visit, give gifts, encourage union members in difficulty who did not return home for Tet, and support bus tickets and means of transportation. At the same time, announce early the time off for Tet, pay salaries and bonuses so that union members can work with peace of mind.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung - Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation proposed to focus resources on organizing activities to care for Binh Ngo Tet in 2026 for union members and workers to ensure practicality and efficiency.
