Dak Lak - The Trade Union coordinates with the Provincial Tax Department to improve the efficiency of fund collection, ensuring resources to care for union members and workers.

On June 29, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit and the Provincial Tax Department have signed a Regulation on coordination in the collection of trade union fees in the area.

According to regulations, the two sides will coordinate to propagate and disseminate legal regulations on taxes and trade unions through training conferences, electronic information pages and appropriate communication forms.

This activity aims to raise awareness and responsibility of agencies, organizations, and businesses in fulfilling the obligation to contribute trade union funds; and at the same time ensure financial resources to serve trade union activities and care for union members and workers.

The two units will also periodically exchange and provide information about agencies, organizations, and enterprises subject to trade union dues; the situation of labor use and the implementation of trade union dues.

This is the basis for strengthening management, reviewing, and urging collection and payment in accordance with regulations. In addition, the two sides agreed to coordinate in inspecting and supervising the compliance with regulations on trade union fund contributions; promptly reminding and handling cases of late payment, short payment or violations according to the provisions of law.

Mr. Le Van Thanh - Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation said that the signing of the coordination regulations will strengthen information exchange and improve the effectiveness of coordination between the two units in the work of collecting trade union funds.

Thereby, contributing to improving management effectiveness, ensuring financial resources for trade union organizations to well perform the task of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.

According to Mr. Thanh, in the coming time, the two units will periodically summarize and evaluate the results of implementing the regulations, promptly remove difficulties and obstacles and continue to improve the effectiveness of coordination in the work of collecting trade union funds in the province.
