The conference was held at the guesthouse of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - Da Lat Branch (Lam Dong Province). This training was attended by more than 40 union officials from 15 grassroots unions under the Trade Unions of agencies and units under the General Confederation.
Speaking at the opening of the training conference, Mr. Le Cao Thang - Director of the Institute for Strategic Research and Trade Union Labor Magazine, Chairman of the Trade Union of agencies and units under the General Confederation - affirmed that this is a practical activity of the unit.
According to Mr. Thang, this activity is part of the program of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of agencies and units under the General Confederation of Labor for the XXVI term, 2023 - 2028. Specifically, raising awareness and fostering knowledge and skills for grassroots union cadres.
Each union cadre needs to study, grasp and clearly understand the key tasks of the organization, cadres and activities of the Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation to effectively implement them in their unit, Mr. Le Cao Thang emphasized.
Here, trade union officials were discussed and informed by reporters who are leaders of the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union on many important contents. Specifically, study regulations on standards for titles of union leaders and managers at all levels. Discuss and deploy tasks and solutions to build a team of grassroots union chairmen to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
