On January 1, according to the reporter's investigation, the leader of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Tien Giang province, Mr. Phan Thanh Van, signed a report on the implementation of salaries in 2024 and the bonus plan for the Lunar New Year and Solar New Year in 2025.
According to the report, currently, in Tien Giang province, there are about 6,300 registered businesses. Of these, about 3,750 businesses hire and employ workers, with a total of more than 200,000 workers.
Based on data from reports of 113 enterprises with 104,641 employees, the average actual salary (including salary, salary allowances and other supplements according to labor law) of enterprises in 2024 is 9,026 million VND/person/month. Of which, the average salary in 2024 (excluding salary allowances and other supplements) is 6,847 million VND/person/month.
As of December 27, through statistics from 48/113 enterprises with 22,401 employees, the average 2025 New Year bonus of enterprises was reported to be 1,818 million VND/person.
For Lunar New Year 2025, through statistics of 105 enterprises with 102,696 employees, the average bonus is about 8.16 million VND/person, equivalent to 1 month of average salary income in 2024.
