The award ceremony of the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union contest accompanying the development of the country was organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation on the morning of October 2.
The contest was held in 2 rounds from August 25 to September 3, with 4 groups of participants being collectives and individuals who are union members and workers working, living and studying in Ho Chi Minh City.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Kim Loan - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - said that the contest attracted 2,558 grassroots unions and over 123,560 cadres, union members, and workers, of which, other participants outside the trade union organization participated in the contest, including 7,013 people.
This also affirms that the contest has had a widespread influence and has gradually become a common playground, not just stopping at the trade union organization, thereby contributing to helping union members and workers understand more about the trade union organization and political and ceremonial events of the country.
On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation awarded grassroots prizes (worth 3 million VND/prize) to 30 units with the largest number of union members and workers participating in the contest and 288 individuals won high prizes in the contest, with a total value of more than 400 million VND.
